Lee Anne holds a B.S. in psychology with a double minor in communications and American Sign Language. She loves learning about new photography techniques and enjoys doing research on the many ways in which photography can be used therapeutically as well as for advocacy and social change.
In addition to working with PhotovoiceWorldwide, Lee Anne is the coordinator for the Thousand Words Photography Project with the non-profit organization ConnectAbility, as well as a Direct Support Professional at UMAR: Art on Main. Starting in fall 2022 she is pursuing a master’s in psychology at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, with the eventual goal of earning her PhD and working for a university or nonprofit. In her spare time, Lee Anne enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and photography.
