As part of our Spring/Summer 2026 Photovoice Coffee Hour series, we kicked off the season with “Encouraging Participation and Inclusion,” which explored the question: How do we make photovoice more participatory and inclusive at every step?
On May 28, at Noon ET, we’ll explore how to adapt photovoice to different cultural contexts. Building on the idea that ethical practice goes beyond protecting privacy and confidentiality, this session will reflect on what it means to respect co-researchers’ cultures and lived realities while supporting the co-production of knowledge. Together, we’ll ask: How can photovoice approaches be thoughtfully and ethically adapted across diverse cultural settings?
Each Photovoice Coffee Hour provides a welcoming space to connect, share challenges and successes, ask questions, and strengthen our global community. Whether you are just starting your photovoice journey or are a seasoned facilitator, these conversations foster thoughtful exchange and meaningful connection.
So, grab a cup and join us for the second session of 2026!
(Sliding ticket price from $0 to $15 to keep this accessible to everyone!)
