They will be equipped to guide groups through the important steps of the photovoice process—from connecting as a group to brainstorming images, developing photo prompts, discussing photos and experiences, creating captions, and preparing to disseminate their work.
This course engages learners through a blend of lecture, arts-based practices, hands-on activities, and recommended readings intended to strengthen photovoice facilitation skills and support co-researchers at every stage of their photovoice journey.
Upon course completion, participants will be ready to foster meaningful photovoice participation using a toolbox of practical tools and strategies adaptable to diverse photovoice contexts.
