This engaging 3-session course prepares you to plan and implement your photovoice project. You will learn the foundations of photovoice, practice photovoice tasks, and explore strategies for recruitment, ethics and safety, engagement, and using photovoice as a tool for storytelling, reflection, and action. By the end of this course, you will be ready to begin to design and lead your own photovoice project and create space for communities to share their voices and inspire change

The 3 sessions are:

    • Session 1: Introduction to photovoice & preparing for your project
    • Session 2: Implementation (photo-taking, discussion, and caption writing)
    • Session 3: Theming, outreach, and closing out your photovoice project
